Ares Star Fighter Inferno Overview

The Ares Star Fighter Inferno is an anti-capital fighter produced by Crusader Industries, built to punish large targets with sustained ballistic pressure. Centered around a Behring-manufactured Size 7 gatling, the Inferno delivers a relentless barrage that can erase smaller ships quickly and chew through the hulls of larger vessels at an alarming pace. In capital ship engagements, it also pairs effectively with the Ares Ion, combining armor-piercing fire with shield-disabling pressure for a more complete takedown package.

SF7B Ballistic Gatling Gun

The Inferno’s signature weapon is the bespoke SF7B Ballistic Gatling Gun, designed for autonomous targeting of substantial spacecraft. Its dense stream of projectiles is built to punch into armor and pressure defenses, leaving enemy ships exposed to follow-up fire and missile strikes. Against smaller vessels, the Inferno’s sustained output can be decisive in moments.

Missile Payload and Strike Flexibility

To supplement its main gun, the Ares carries three missile racks with capacity for a total of twenty Size 3 missiles. This loadout adds burst threat, finishing potential, and tactical flexibility when engaging hardened targets or forcing evasive maneuvers during an intercept.

Equipment Storage and External Access

The Ares includes an 860K μSCU storage unit along with specialized gun racks, both accessible from the exterior at the rear. This provides practical space for mission essentials while keeping turnaround time quick between sorties.
